Hi! I’m Kate! 

 

I’m an animator living in Brooklyn, NYC. I was born in the noble state of Rhode Island, and attended the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, where I received a BFA in animation. Currently represented by Fourth Wall Management.

 

I thrive in Flash (aka adobe animate), where I can bring 2D hand-drawn shorts to life. I’m currently freelancing for Buzzfeed’s The Land of Boggs, and in my personal time I’ve created a handful of shorts, including a western called Cowgirlies.

 

A lot of my work is “funny and–”...funny and a little bit sad, funny and weird, funny and cringe. I once had two people come up to me to confess they had quit their job upon seeing a film I made about wanting to quit my own job at the time. I’m thrilled they could relate, but honestly a bit disturbed that they had my film to credit.

 

Moral of the story is I have a passion for it all; writing, directing, animating, storyboarding, designing, running around, living in a city, making connections, friends to lovers arch, etc etc…

 

My goals include making a show or two, owning land, and sculpting one of those insanely romantic sarcophagus of two people lounging together to be buried in (tmi maybe).
